I own a lot of knives. We are belonging to man, and tool users. I find the edged utensil to be quite capricious and hold it in lofty regard. This one is especially well made. It has the strengths I direct the eye for in a folding knife, and few of the weaknesses.
Cons–The hardware securing the leaf initially missing tightness, leaving a unsubstantial hold. But after adjusting, and much use, it has found it’s broad way and holds consummately. That’s not even a con now…necessity to think some more. Um, it’s dear? But you pay for what you get, and it is made in the US, so you know the effort wasn’t low-priced. I’m having a solid time giving a con. Ok, here it is–it’s vigor is it’s weakness. It’s a D2 leaf. Non-serrated, so less versatility (though, honestly, I allied non-serrated blades). D2 way it’s a very compact stainless (it’s verily semi-untarnished, I believe) which method it holds an cutting side pretty well with a Rockwell Impenetrability on the C scale of 60ish. Takes a minute work to keep from catheretic. Though it also means it’s rigid to sharpen, and takes some duration. Invest in specific sharpening tools if you are reasoning of buying a leaf made of D2, VG-10, ATS-34, S30V, ZDP-189, M2(complacent of chisel carburet of iron I use), etc… ...
